Freeman Marine deck hatches & accessories
Bövik Marin AB is the Swedish and Danish agent and importer of Freeman Marine's aluminum deck hatches. Freeman Marine was aquired by Canadian AdvanTec Marine in 2012, which in addition to Freeman also owns the companies Diamond Sea Glaze, Steelhead Marine, Pacific Coast Marine, USA Sliding Doors and Manly Marine.
Since 1989, Bövik Marin AB have supplied thousands of Freeman hatches and among the users are the Swedish Navy, the Coast Guard, the Swedish Sea Rescue Society, the Swedish Transport Administration, the Police and several ferries, fishing vessels and work boats. These watertight and durable hatches have become very popular over the years thanks to their flush design. The hatches are available in several different sizes and shapes from small 8-inch round hatches to large 36x36-inch square hatches. The deck rings are available in aluminum, for welding or bolting into aluminum or fiberglass decks, and steel and stainless steel for welding into steel decks. Hinged hatches are also available from size 18" (round) upwards, and thanks to its hinged design, the hatch can be opened more than 180 degrees, which means that when open, it rests on the deck - in other words, there is no need for gas springs or struts to hold the hatch open.

We sell complete hatches with rings, hatches without rings, loose rings, spare parts as well as gaskets, seals and bushings. Goods that we keep in stock in normally dispatched within 1-2 days after order. For non stocked products, the delivery time is usually around 3-6 weeks after order depending on the application and model.
