Question: How long can Original-ANSCHÜTZ compressed air cylinders be used? Answer: Aluminum and Stainless steel Original-ANSCHÜTZ compressed air cylinders can be used for max. 10 years from the date of manufacture if they are used properly and correctly. Please find information on the service life of black Original-ANSCHÜTZ steel compressed air cylinders here. Compressed air cylinders which are leaky, defective or older than 10 years must be emptied and must not be used and filled anymore. The date of manufacture can be seen from the compressed air cylinder. Please also check the compressed air cylinder for cracks. If you notice any cracks or a similar damage, please empty the compressed air cylinder at once and send it to ANSCHÜTZ for inspection. The surface of your compressed air cylinder must not be manipulated. You especially must not engrave or otherwise penetrate the surface of the compressed air cylinder as this would lead to a damage of the cylinder which might entail a safety risk, a sudden failure of the compressed air cylinder or to serious injuries. The shooter is solely responsible for his compressed air cylinder. Compressed air cylinders with expired period of use must not be used anymore. ANSCHÜTZ expressly points out that in case of a use exceeding this period, the use is at one's own risk. Safety can no longer be guaranteed and even severe injuries might occur. Compressed air cylinders with a fixed maximum period of use must not be checked again as this check would contradict the reasonable safety aspects fixed by ANSCHÜTZ.
