A special honey harvested in one of the largest and fertile forests of the Peloponnese, Foloi, with huge oak trees (DRUS). This honey is dark, viscous, with a particularly subtle taste, low sugar concentration and does not crystallize easily.
The honey texture crystallizes naturally, but it can be restored to liquid form if the honey vase is placed in a pan of hot water (up to 45 degrees C or 110 degrees F).
