Gaiter Dressage V2 Classic (treeless)

Taur Gaiter Dressage V2 is a treeless dressage saddle developed for horses with pronounced gaits. It is also very good for horses with slightly more difficult saddle positions, such as very short-backed horses.
This model has specially designed features that together provide very good freedom of movement: softly shaped front hoods and specially cut, beveled bosses in Soft Latex. These features ensure that the shoulder blades are given extra space and the saddle is therefore also suitable for horses with a lot of shoulder activity.

This version of the Taur Gaiter Dressage has a more forward position of the knee support, giving the rider more freedom for the upper leg. The knee supports are also narrower and shorter and therefore provide more space for the lower leg. If you need more leg room or just want a freer position where the knee brace provides more subtle support, choose this version (V2). Otherwise, V2 has the same comfort and balance as the popular Taur Gaiter Dressage 2019.

Single flap as standard. Stabilizing, fully flexible, one-size-fits-all iron with short tips to suit all horses.
The clever placement of the girth straps (V-system with movable back strap) stabilizes the saddle, even on round-bellied or overbuilt horses, where the saddle otherwise tends to slide forward. Good pressure relief thanks to the latex-filled, beveled bosses (permanently padded in Soft Latex).
Close-Contact bosses. As an option, you can order the panels with 1 cm extra filling. If you choose thicker panels, we recommend choosing the 'Wider Channel' option. Built up in the front to also fit horses with a mane (not suitable for horses with a high mane).

Very comfortable, semi-deep dressage seat with good seat positioning. The seat has soft latex padding and you have seven different seat sizes to choose from (15" - 18").
Want to attach panniers to your saddle? Then choose the optional D-rings (choose between rear rings, front rings or both). Several of the pictures show saddles with D-rings.

Very fine quality leather. Made in Europe.
Weight approx. 5,3 kg in 17,5" size.

This version of V2 has single flaps.
You can choose any colour for the stitching and piping (piping = border on the rear vault). Pictures can be found here above.

A very comfortable saddle for gaited riding at all levels, dressage and for leisure riding. Suitable for Icelandic horses, coldblooded horses, Iberian breeds, fjord horses, Friesians, ponies and other breeds with low to medium withers (not high withers).
