The pad is made of various flexible, high-quality materials which contributes to a correct distribution of the load the rider exerts on the horse’s back.

Specifically designed for higher-withered horses, the Union pad allows for optimal spinal clearance through panels you can strategically place to fit your own horse. Additionally, the deeper soft seat and cantle support rider stability. The adjustable knee rolls give a more secure feeling and help riders maintain a perfect position.

Innovative Stirrup & Girth System

For riders choosing to use stirrups, the stirrup attachment is positioned to distribute pressure evenly, ensuring that the rider’s weight is spread across multiple layers of the pad’s construction.

The PP Y-girthing system enhances stability by distributing girth pressure over a wider surface area. The movable rings allow for customized girth placement, and riders can select between short (12-inch) or long (18-inch) straps based on their horse’s conformation.

  Please note that the Union saddles are monoflap models with soft leather flaps.
  This means when using the Union with stirrups the use of soft leather stirrup leathers is strongly recommended.
  If soft leather stirrup leathers are not used, we advise either using a Merino protective cover or no stirrups at all to prevent damage to the soft leather flaps.
