The Daniamant L12B (part number 56-A701) serves as a dedicated power supply and steady light for liferafts and lifejackets.
Constructed with a moulded polythene case containing silver chloride and magnesium plates, the unit features four sealed activation holes connected via pull cord for sequential unsealing. When suspended upright, its illumination performance in fresh water is substantially equivalent to sea water. It provides a 2 cd side beam and 3.5 cd vertical beam for a minimum of 12 hours.
