Zaldi Altras - the new school saddle specially developed for Alta Escuela. Developed together with and recommended by Mr. Ignacio Rambla and Mr. Rafael Soto at the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre in Jerez (REAAE).
Newly designed Alta Escuela model developed for dressage at the highest level, but is also a wonderful saddle for leisure riding at all levels. Fantastic comfort, wonderful for long rides in the woods and fields.
Altras is a beautiful and stylish saddle that combines the rounded flaps of the English dressage saddle and the design of the Iberian saddle. The strong and flexible polycarbonate tree is equipped with a dressage base with wide wool-stuffed panels. Deep dressage seat with soft latex in three layers. English rear gallery and Iberian gallery at the front.
Ergonomic knee pads. Long V-shaped straps, the front strap is elastic.
Stainless steel stirrupleather cramps - you can use your regular dressage stirrups/webbers. Specially selected top quality European material. Choose between supple box calf leather or classic suede with fantastic grip. The saddle in the main picture is in gray suede with a cognac-colored panels, which is the classic design of the Spanish Riding School and Real Escuela in Jerez.
Altras have wide wedge panels and are suitable for horses with medium-long/longer backs. Originally, the Alta Escuela saddle is designed for the Iberian horse breeds (P.R.E and Lusitano) with their specific movement patterns and conformation. Altras are not suitable for horses with short backs. The contact area of a 17.5" saddle is approx. 55 cm.
