Teapot wavyblue

This teapot was wheel thrown and fired in my studio. A wavy pattern was drawn into the wet blue slip directly on the throwing wheel The teapot is glazed with a white tin glaze which allows the blue slip to show through Strainer inside the spout and the lid has a lock to prevent it from falling off when pouring. An extra support on top of the handle gives better grip. Height about 16 cm to top of the lid ( 6 in), holds 12 dl (2,6 pt). Microwave and dishwasher safe.
