Description
This teapot was wheel thrown and fired in my studio. A diagonal stripe pattern was achieved by scraping a tool through thick slip.
The teapot is glazed with a white tin glaze which allows the dark clay to show when it breaks upon the textured stripes
Strainer inside the spout and the lid has a lock to prevent it from falling off when pouring. An extra support on top of the handle gives better grip.
Height about 15 cm to top of the lid ( 6 in), holds 12 dl (2,6 pt).
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
